5 Common mistake people make when buying UAE visit visa

Choosing the wrong visa type– UAE visit visa has got 2-3 different visa types like the 24 hours, 48 hours, 30 days and 60 days. It always advisable for traveller to check with their travel agent regarding the validity and the stay period in order to know exactly how many days they are eligible to stay in UAE. So if your planning to visit Dubai for 35 days, thinking that it will be enough of 30 days visa and rest can be overstayed and pay the fines while exit will be the greatest mistake. In that case it always better to go for 60 days visa which wont be much difference in price.

Checking Passport validity– Travelling or applying for visa internationally, all the embassy requires 6 months validity on the passport. Many people do not check the validity of their passport and can end up in their visa rejections

Ignoring overstay penalty– Many travelers aren’t aware of the daily fines for overstaying. Many thinking it can be sorted later which accumulates and becomes expensive and problematic. Some may get recruited and their company will start the process for visa. When the travel agents informs them regarding the overstay and their last day, many think that their company will take care and this can be the biggest mistake. Travel agents are allowed to put absconding from the day 1 of the overstay and this can result in many problems for the visa issuance and also will be considered blacklisted.

Not Understanding single entry vs multiple entry visa– Some travelers think they have multiple entry visa for their single entry visa. They try to enter again with the same visa which will be not valid. As in UAE visa it clearly mentions its Single entry or Multiple entry on the visa.

Last minute visa application- The normal visa process takes around 2-3 days, but in some cases it might go for security which can be further delayed. So its always better to start the process atleast a week or 2 before your travel date so there wont be any last minute surprise.
